Forgot Computer User ID and Email password

Overview

Computer User IDs (CUIDs) are used by both students and employees to login to computers on campus, access Wi-Fi and other services. See Related Articles for more information on using your different Langara accounts.

See the Related Articles section if you already know your password and wish to change it.

NOTE: Your CUID password is used for your Office 365 email account too. Changing your CUID password changes it for your Langara email account as well. 

Solution

CAUTION: To reset your password, your account must be activated first.

1. Go to this link; alternatively, click on Forgot my password in the log in screen of the Microsoft service you are trying to log in to.
2. Enter your Langara email address.
3. Solve the puzzle.
4. Click Next.
5. Choose one of your additional authentication methods and follow the instructions to verify your account.
   TIP: The verification process will differ slightly depending on which authentication methods you previously set up for your account, please refer to this Microsoft article under Reset methods for more details.
6. Enter your new password in both text boxes.
7. Click Finish.
