Connecting to campus Wi-Fi

Overview

Active students, employees, and visitors can connect to Langara College's on-campus Wi-Fi network.

Langara employees with Langara IT assigned laptops should automatically connect to the LangaraDevices wireless network.

TIP - If your laptop is having difficulties connecting, please reach out to IT via the Service Desk in the Library, Remote Support, or submit a General Network Support request.

Personal devices will connect to the eduroam wireless network. Instructions for both active students & employees and visitors to Langara College are found below.

Solution

 

Personal Devices - eduroam

Active students and employees can connect their personal devices (laptops, tablets, phones, etc.) to the eduroam wireless network. Instructions for each type of device/platform are listed below:

TIP - If you require assistance with connecting your personal device to eduroam, please visit the IT Service Desk in the Library

Visitors - eduroam

If you are a visitor to Langara College and you have been granted visitor credentials by your host, you can connect your personal device to eduroam by following the directions here: Connect to eduroam using an eVA Guest Wi-Fi account

CAUTIONMake sure you have received your eVA credentials before proceeding. If you did not receive your credentials, check your email or SMS messages or reach out to the Langara employee who granted you access
