Returning an employee laptop

Overview

When a Langara-issued laptop is no longer needed, it should be returned to the IT Service Desk to be removed from service. This can be done by the employee themselves, or by their manager or supervisor if the employee has already left.

All files and programs on the laptop will be deleted after it is returned. Laptops will be held for two weeks before the hard drive is erased, in case the laptop was returned in error.
