Request to move phone extension to new location

Overview

When an employee moves to different office, they will need to inform IT to move their phone extension from the old office to new office. Solution

When you request to move a phone extension to different location, please provide the following information:

  1. Phone extension, otherwise called a local
  2. Langara Inventory Number (LIN) on the phone. This is located on the bottom of the unit and is a five-digit number.
  3. Old location
  4. New location
  5. Reason for move
  6. Date of move
  7. Is the move temporary or permanent
