Overview
If you are an employee changing offices, you can use this service to relocate your existing phone and/or extension to the new office.
If you need to request a new phone for the new location, please see Request New Office Phone/Extension.
If you are moving furniture as well as the phone, please use the Facilities service here: Facilities Move Requests
The phone will be taken care as part of this.
Before you make request
Please ensure that you have the following information ready when filling out the form:
- Room number of the current location
- Room number of the new location
- Network port to plug the phone in to if moving physical phone
- When our technicians can come by to carry out the move
- If you are requesting to move an existing local extension, we will also ask for:
- The extension that is to be moved (e.g. 4321)
- Primary extension associated with the four-digit local extension
- *Each physical phone is associated with a primary extension, typically in the format of a room number (e.g. RM B333). This exists to help with the management of phones and will not be changed. As employees move around, their local numbers will be added or removed as secondary extensions to the phone.
After you make request
You will receive an email notification with a reference ticket number. We will be in touch for any follow-up questions and actions. You can also reply to the email if you have additional details or queries. Once the request has been completed, you will receive another notification to confirm all is as requested.
