Third-Party Worker Access Request

Who can request this service?

 Request to grant or change access for a third-party worker must be initiated by the Langara Manager responsible for overseeing the contracting company.

It is the responsibility of the Langara manager to ensure that all 3rd party workers are aware of and abide by College Policies, in particular:

Overview

Third-party workers are those who are employed by contracting companies that provide various services on campus. Currently, personnel from the following contracting companies are eligible for IT services.

  • Paladin (Campus Security)
  • BEST (Janitorial Services)
  • ACML (Mechanical Engineering)
  • Chartwells (Catering)
  • Ricoh (Print Services)
  • Langara Students Union

The IT services available to third-party workers include:

  • Langara email account
  • Photo ID
  • File services
  • Wi-Fi
  • Desktop and Citrix access
  • myLangara and Langara Post (as part of O365)

Third-party workers from other companies may also be eligible for IT services, but will require additional approval.
