Available adapters for Langara owned computers and laptops

Overview

Following adapters will be provided by IT to allow connection between Langara owned equipment. Adapters to connect Langara equipment to non-Langara equipment should be purchased by the department. 

• PC Adapters:
  • USB-C to HDMI - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
  • USB-C to DisplayPort - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
  • USB-C to VGA - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
• Apple adapters
  • Apple USBC-C AV Multiport adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect to HDMI and USB 3.0 
  • Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect to VGA and USB 3.0 
  • Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect USB 3.0 devices
  • Apple Lightning to USB - used for connecting Apple devices with Lightning connector. Also used for charging
