Available adapters for Langara owned computers and laptops

IT will provide AV adapters for Langara laptops when needed.

Overview

Following adapters will be provided by IT to allow connection between Langara owned equipment. Adapters to connect Langara equipment to non-Langara equipment should be purchased by the department.

PC Adapters:
- USB-C to HDMI - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
- USB-C to DisplayPort - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
- USB-C to VGA - used for connecting to second monitor and some enhanced classrooms/labs
Apple adapters
- Apple USBC-C AV Multiport adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect to HDMI and USB 3.0
- Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect to VGA and USB 3.0
- Apple USB-C to USB Adapter - used for new Macbooks and iMacs to connect USB 3.0 devices
- Apple Lightning to USB - used for connecting Apple devices with Lightning connector. Also used for charging
