Forward Langara-provided student email to a personal email account

Overview

NOTE: Due to concerns related to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, IT does not support forwarding of employee email to personal email accounts

Students can forward their myLangara email to a personal email address. Forwarding can also be removed at any time.

Solution

CAUTION: The ability to send email from a forwarded account is not supported. For example, if your Langara student Office 365 account is forwarded to Gmail, you will not be able to send from the Office 365 account through Gmail.

To forward your myLangara student email to a personal email address, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Office 365 email account
  2. Click on the gear icon on the top right section of the screen
  3. Search for forwarding in the search box
  4. Click on Forwarding
  5. Check Enable forwarding, enter the email you want to forward to and select Keep a copy if desired
