Mounting the StudentShare network drive on a Mac

Overview

While your personal network drive is accessible upon logging in to a Mac. It shows up under Locations as ehome.int.ad.langara.ca the student share, which contains the shared folders for courses you are registered in, is not. In order to access the student share network drive (MYSHARE on a Mac and O:\ in Windows) you will need to mount it.

Solution

  1. Press Command + K to open the connect to server dialog
  2. Enter "smb://sshare.int.ad.langara.ca"
  3. Click Connect
  4. Click on the MYSHARE server in the list.
  5. Click OK
  6. Repeat for any other servers you want to mount
