Overview
Starting January 26, 2026, IT Support will be adjusted to accommodate our reduced resources. The new support model will look like the following:
Phase 1: Starting Jan 26, 2026
Monday to Friday – 8am to 6pm

- General support:
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–6:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Chat Support:
- Open: Monday to Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm
- Emergency Meeting/Exam/Event/Classroom support (call 5999):
- Open: Monday to Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm
Saturday support will no longer be offered. We will be ceasing Saturday support.
Phase 2: Starting May 25, 2026
New IT Service Desk Hours – Monday to Friday

- General support: Monday to Friday 10:00 am–2:00 pm
- Book-a-Service-Desk-Visit Hours:
- By appointment
- Monday to Thursday 8:00 am–10:00 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm
- Friday 8:00 am–10:00 am and 2:00 pm–5:00 pm
- Chat Support:
- Open: Monday to Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm
- Emergency Meeting/Exam/Event/Classroom support (call 5999):
- Open: Monday to Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm
NOTE - Due to the busyness of the first 2 weeks of a semester and final exam period, the Service Desk will be open for general drop-in support from 8am to 6pm on weekdays. After the first 2 weeks of a semester and after final exams conclude, the Service Desk hours will revert to the above.
What does this mean?
This means that in Phase 2, the Service Desk will be open only from 10:00 am–2:00 pm on weekdays.
A new service, Book-a-Service-Desk-Visit, will allow employees and students to book time with a tech at the Service Desk between 8:00 am–10:00 am and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm Mondays through Thursdays and 8:00 am–10:00 am and 2:00 pm–5:00 pm on Fridays for any issue that needs face-to-face interaction. Why is this happening?
Following recent layoffs at the College, our IT staff has been reduced. As a result, our IT Service Desk support hours had to be adjusted.
