Personal Phone Extension

What Is It?

An extension is a 4-digit number assigned to a physical phone. Most employees are assigned an extension and depending on their needs this can be an external or internal number.

External extensions would be used for any line where you need the public to be able to phone in and which you plan on advertising publicly. These require a business case as these extensions are limited. External extensions start with 5. Any other number indicates an internal extension

Internal extensions are our standard office lines and can be called from within the college via their extension - and can be reached externally by calling the switchboard at 603-323-5511. The system will ask for the caller to enter the extension.
