Request Network Connection

Who can request this service?

Faculty, Staff and external users such as Langara Student Union and Compass Food Services.

Overview

This service provides network connections for new or existing locations.
The cost is generally paid for by IT unless the request is part of a project.

Before you make request

Please ensure you have the following information ready:

  • Room Number(s)
  • Number of connections required
  • Maps and photos of room and specific location where connections are needed
  • Will this be for an external or college owned device?
  • Any additional information relevant to the request (e.g. This is part of a project).

After you make request

You will receive an email notification from the email system with a ticket number for reference. You may reply to the email if you have any further details or questions.
Upon completion of the request, you will receive an email from IT requesting that you confirm all is as requested.
