Overview

At Langara, there are several types of "special courses" that are routinely, manually created in Brightspace by EdTech and Library departments. This service allows EdTech, the Library or other departments to synchronize enrolments in a Banner section to a course offering in Brightspace.

The associations need to be saved in a database table, because the enrolments are expected to be kept in sync.

If new students register for the Banner course they need to be added to the Brightspace course offering.
If students drop the Banner course, they need to be removed from the Brightspace course offering.

Before you make request

Please ensure you have the following information ready before submitting your request:

  • CRNs
  • Brightspace codes

After you make request

You will receive an update once the CRNs and courses have been linked.
