Reset Langara ID Password (Students)

Overview

Your Langara ID is the permanent number that you are given when you first become a Langara student or employee. This number may also be known as your login ID, Student ID, Employee ID or myLangara ID.

It is used for:

• Accessing the Student Information System
• myLibrary
• C3 Job Board

Solution

NOTE: The options to reset your password shown below are listed in ascending order starting from the fastest and easiest solution.

Option 1 - Self Service

1. Go to https://langara.ca
2. Click on Log in at the top right of the page
3. Click on Student Information System
4. Enter your nine-digit Langara ID (Format: 100000000)
5. Click on Forgot PIN?
6. Answer the security question and click on Submit Answer
   • If you haven't set your Challenge Response questions you will need to use Option 2 or 3 below to reset your Langara ID password
7. Your password (PIN) will be reset to the 11 character default value

Option 2 - Registrar's Office

Visit the Registrar and Enrolment Services office in the first floor of the T Building. Hours of Operation

Option 3 - Other

NOTE: SWAP students are considered employees for this process - RES cannot reset SWAP student PINs as the SWAP student will not show up in their tool. If you are a SWAP student and Self Service didn't work for you please refer to the article for employees in the related articles section.
