CourseWeb – Create a new blog

Overview

   What is CourseWeb?
   Courseweb (https://courseweb.langara.ca) is a WordPress installation that students and instructors

   can use for creating websites, typically for course based activities. 

   Who can request a site?

   Anyone with a valid email, including students, can use for course work or personal sites.

NOTE - CourseWeb is mainly for students. Langara instructors and staff may want to check out iWeb for publishing information pages, course materials, and research instead.

  What is a valid email address?

  Email addresses ending in @mylangara.bc.ca , @langara.bc.ca or @langara.ca

  How to request a site?

  1. To request a CourseWeb account and site, visit https://courseweb.langara.ca/wp-signup.php

  1. After clicking on "Create a New Blog" button, you can customize your Site Name and Site Title.

  1. After signing up, you should receive an activation email at the email you provided

  1. By clicking on the activation link, you should now be able to get the password for your blog.
