Overview

Visit the Workday Training site for training and support resources, including how-to guides and more details.

All employees including staff, faculty, CS instructors and program coordinators, managers, academic leaders and student workers use Workday to manage and view their personal information and to complete tasks based on their roles such as:

  • Updating personal information including benefits
  • View pay slips and tax documents
  • Managing time entry, work schedules and time off
  • Submitting purchase requisitions and expense claims
  • Submitting supplier requests and supplier invoices.

Unable to log in to Workday? If you are a former employee, please check your personal email address for instructions. If you cannot find the instructions there, please submit a Login Help request and select "Workday account for former employee".

Submit a Workday support request if you are having trouble completing a task in Workday, experiencing a technical issue, or need help navigating the system. Your request will be assigned to a member of our dedicated support team who will follow up with you for more information or with further instructions. For some requests, we may suggest a video or phone call over Teams depending on your preference.

Tips on Submitting a Support Request

Here are some tips that can help us resolve your support request faster and more efficiently.

  • Summarize the issue you are having and what you’ve tried to do to fix it.
  • If you’ve asked others for help, let us know who else you have spoken to about the issue.
  • Include 1-3 screenshots that show the issue or error you are experiencing in Workday.
  • Always submit a new support request for each new issue – don’t reply to or cc old support emails.

After you make request

You will receive an email notification from the email system with a ticket number for reference. You may reply to the email if you have any further details or questions. Upon completion of the request, you will receive an email from Workday requesting that you confirm all is as requested.
