Access mylinux files on a web browser

Overview

Some courses use mylinux to make websites in class.  Any web documents under your public_html folder can be viewed from a browser using the proper web address: 

  • http://mylinux.langara.bc.ca/~userID/ (where 'userID' is your Computer User ID)

Solution

Using FileZilla you can put a file onto you mylinux server under the folder public_html.  You can access that file by using http://mylinux.langara.bc.ca/~userID/ and adding the file path after public_html.
