Change Voicemail Greeting

Overview

The Mitel IP phones allow access to voicemail and the voicemail greeting can be changed any time through the phone options.

Solution

To change your voicemail greeting (message) from your Mitel IP phone, follow these steps.

 NOTE: To change your voicemail greeting when you are off-campus, see Access voicemail off campus

1. Press the mail/message button OR press 8* to enter your voicemail
2. Press U (8 key ) for User options
3. Press G (4 key) for Greeting
4. Press R (7 key) for Record greeting
5. Record the greeting. Press X (9 key) to stop recording and save
6. Press X (9 key) to exit your mailbox

If you wish to listen to your current greeting, press L (5 key) in place of R (7 key) to record in the above instructions.
