M1 Macbooks cannot connect to meeting room displays through USB-C connection

Solution (If appropriate)

Use a USB-C to HDMI adapter and the HDMI input.

Symptoms

Connecting a M1 Macbook to the USB-C connection in an enhanced classroom or meeting room will result in a blank screen.  On the Macbook, you will see both screens diplayed as the laptops screen.

Work-Around

Use a USB-C to HDMI adapter and the HDMI input.
