Overview
Some meeting rooms and calendars are set up as resources in Office 365. Mainly these are the IT Meeting Room, On-Campus Calendar, Maintenance Calendar, B building meeting rooms, etc. Other rooms can be setup as resources in Office 365. This can only be requested by Employees of the College.
NOTE: This process only applies to shared calendar resources, not shared emails. Shared calendar resources do not send email and are only used for booking calendar objects. Shared email access can be granted by the manager of the email.
Solution
To gain access to shared calendar resources submit the request to IT via the Ask IT form.
The following information is required:
- Name of the meeting room calendar(s)
- Name of person requesting access
- Contact information for person requesting access
- Authorizing person
- Contact information for authorizing person
