This error can show up if 3rd party cookies are disabled on the browser and Kaltura will not play the video. 

Solution

Please follow the instructions below to enable the 3rd party cookies for Kaltura to run on your BrightSpace: 

  1. On Mac Safari, click Safari on the top left side of your window.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Privacy.
  4. Uncheck the box called "Prevent cross-site tracking".
  5. Revisit or refresh your BrightSpace video link. You should now see the page come up without any error messages.
  6. Go back to Preferences and check the box called "Prevent cross-site tracking".
  7. Close out your Preferences window.
