For promotional purposes in print or digital advertising campaigns, Communications and Marketing makes requests for an easy to remember URL shortcut which redirects to a longer, more complicated URL.
For example, the shortened URL https://langara.ca/it/ redirects to the actual URL https://langara.ca/information-technology/index.html
Solution
Contact the Communications and Marketing (C&M) department.
C&M has a special form they use to make requests for redirects on the website, which is then sent to IT.
